改编自藤泽周平的同名小说。主人公佐之助，混迹于江户时代的黑暗世界，一日在常去的酒亭，他结识了伊兵卫。在伊兵卫的怂恿与自己渴求过上美好生活的双重诱惑下，他最终同意，和一群陌生男子搭档，合伙抢劫商家七百两的巨款……。A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。
