《新闻之夜》团队的故事仍在继续，威尔与麦可讨论着他们的婚事，却又被突发的新闻拉回到了工作中来。尼尔在同事的电脑上发现了名为猫粮的文件夹，他试图破解然后发现里面的秘密，却让自己进入了犯间谍罪的重大嫌疑人名单中被警方调查，尼尔把事情的来龙去脉告诉了律师哈利迪，说是有人提供了电脑里的高级解密密码自己才打开了电脑，但他却不愿提供线人的名字。ACN里，大家还在为尼尔的事担心，查理过来把公司将要被卖的消息告诉他们。另一边，尼尔消失了，麦可知道是威尔放走的尼尔，十分生气，而威尔也因无法提供线人的名字而入狱。当麦可找到线人，威尔终于出狱，查理却突发疾病倒地不起。在查理的葬礼上，昔日一起奋斗的场面在大家脑海中闪过，而威尔和麦可等新闻工作者仍然在为自己心中的新闻理想而前行着。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
