在父母过世后，Lucas（奥古斯特马图洛饰）是由酒鬼哥哥Tom（迈克尔C曼宁饰）一手养大的。Lucas被同侪霸凌，于是他和树林中的怪物成了朋友，发展出了危险的关系。莉比贝拉（LibeBarer）饰演Anna，一位来自外地的女孩，她和Tom交往，并对Lucas非常关心。丹艾迪亚（Dan Hedaya）饰演警长，他曾和Tom与Lucas已过世的妈妈有过一段情，所以觉得自己有责任要照顾这对孤儿兄弟。。该片讲述了一个入殓师女孩橘子的爱情故事，开始她不敢告诉男朋友魏辽自己的职业，然而魏辽阴差阳错地发现了这个所谓的“秘密”，于是与橘子提出分手，橘子苦苦挽留仍然无济于事，在橘子好友李摩的帮助下，橘子发现了魏辽的秘密，原来魏辽是出轨了。此时橘子在愤怒的同时，仍然想要挽回这段爱情，李摩作为一个拥有侦探头脑的人，帮助橘子准备了一些作战计划，其中包括从魏辽的小蜜进行调查等，在一系列的事件发生后，橘子渐渐发现了自己真正想要的是什么......。A strange man comes into a house with only the wife.
