本剧讲述了1930年初的上海，各方势力风起云涌，社会动荡，宁波的富商之女丁易青（张婧仪饰）只身来到上海，在结识了地下工作者董红玉（曾黎饰）、林默生（牛骏峰饰）等人，众人在经历过1938年抗战爆发，1942年太平洋战争爆发之后，完成了上海底下隐蔽战线尤其是经济战线上的各项革命任务，一起为了理想中的那一天，燃烧自己的青春的故事。。Thuppakki is basically about Jagdish (Vijay), an army captain, who returns to Mumbai for a 40 days’ vacation.
